Air Jordan 11 Low IE • BRED

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of this OG with a new “Bred” colourway. Staked out in a low-cut silhouette, a black full-grain leather upper with mesh vents and suede overlays deliver championship luxury, much like MJ did in ’96. To keep things fiery and true to title-winning form, red lining and a red Jumpman hit the tongue while a white midsole and translucent outsole provide a vintage feel.

Air Jordan 1 High Shadow 2.0

More than 35 years after its debut, the Air Jordan 1 still stands as a timeless and versatile design built to match any aesthetic. Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low

The Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low released as part of a collaboration with the Houston rapper and Japanese imprint. Featuring a colorway that recalls previous fragment design collaborations, the shoe’s upper is built with a white leather base, overlaid by black and royal blue and complemented by inverted Swoosh branding on the lateral side. The heel patch of the left shoe includes Cactus Jack branding and a smiley face logo, while fragment’s lightning bolt marks the right shoe. Underfoot, a two-tone rubber cupsole anchors the design.

Air Jordan 1 x Fragment Design x Travis Scott Retro High

A Jordan Brand collaboration with two major creative partners, the Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High released in July 2021. The shoe’s upper is built with a white tumbled leather base, contrasted by black on Travis Scott’s signature backward Swoosh branding. The black nylon collar includes a hidden pouch, similar to a 2019 collaboration, while the toe box, collar and heel overlay all add Military Blue to the look. The heel also includes fragment design’s lightning bolt logo on the right shoe, with Cactus Jack branding on the left, while underfoot, an off-white midsole houses Air in the heel to offer the usual cushioning. More Military Blue on the concentric rubber outsole completes the look.

Air Jordan AJKO Collection

January 7, 2021 | Category: Ward 1 Sneakers

Air Jordan AJKO

The Air Jordan I ditched leather for canvas in 1986. Named the Air Jordan KO, they feature ‘AJKO’ on the wings logos instead of ‘Air Jordan’. The reasoning as to why this change was made or, the naming of the shoe the Air Jordan K.O. is still unknown to this day. While the original Air Jordan I is highly coveted, sought after and hard-to-find, the AJKO is all that, and then some. While we know that at least four colorways were originally released in ’86, every now and then we stumble upon another pair we practically know nothing about.

If you do enough research, you can find about ten original colorways of the Air Jordan I KO. But, at the end of the day, many are samples that never actually released to the public. Another difference between the AJI and the AJKO is the outsole. For the ‘Silver Anniversary’ of the Air Jordan in 2010, Jordan Brand retroed the KO’s for the first time. Two colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High dropped, both original. They featured a ‘vintage’ look to them with yellowed midsoles, ‘powdered outsoles and some yellowing on the uppers as well. The original style outsole was also replaced with the regular AJI version.

One year later, in 2011, the Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High would return. This time around, they featured an entirely different look, with premium leather uppers instead of the traditional canvas. Three colorways dropped and to date, are the only AJKO’s to release with a canvas upper. In 2012 they made another appearance. Three colorways released during this short run, which included the original black/red and ‘Black Toes’ as well as a new Barcelona-inspired pair, which was a part of the ‘Road to the Gold’ Collection.

In 2013, Jordan Brand debuted the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. A version featuring original ‘Nike’ branding, just like the versions released in 1985. One year later, the Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High got the ‘OG’ treatment, complete with its original outsole and packaged in an orange Nike box. The original white, red and black colorway returned for its second time, sans the ‘vintage’ look. The original black/royal AJI was converted to an AJKO for the first time and ditched the royal shade for a new sport blue scheme.

Air Max 3 Archetype

In 1990, the Air Max line took a fateful leap forward with the debut of a silhouette that quickly transcended its purpose of performance running. Younger audiences may know this look as the “Air Max 90”—but upon its debut, the design was seen as the latest evolution of the original Air Max from 1987, and given a fitting name: Air Max 3 Archetype.

This edition celebrates the timeless style by returning to that original moniker while recreating its earliest execution with unmatched dedication to detail. That includes original tooling, with tapered midsole foam and an encapsulated airbag in the forefoot. This colorway extends the nostalgia by nodding to the exploration and prototyping process that led to the icon’s creation.

Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball consciousness. He took the court in 1985 wearing the original Air Jordan I, simultaneously breaking league rules and his opponents’ will while capturing the imagination of fans worldwide.

This timeless silhouette needs no introduction—but we’ll break it down for those that don’t know. Tinker Hatfield created the Air Jordan 11 to redefine limits, with a carbon fiber plate for unrivaled performance and patent leather for an unprecedented touch of luxury. The inventive design debuted as MJ returned from his first retirement, putting the rest of the league (and the shoe game) on notice. Now, the look is back in a special makeup to officially mark the model’s 25th anniversary.

The Air Jordan 11 Jubilee colorway comes dressed in contrasting shades of black and white, with a metallic Jumpman logo and 23 insignia on the heel adding hits of hardware. Similar adornments along the shoe’s lace eyelets spell out “Jordan” in celebration of the style’s namesake. Lock down this historic edition of the Air Jordan 11 just in time for the holidays.

Where the Air Max 1 exposed the air unit and provided a chance for you to peak inside the inner-workings of a sneaker, the Air Max 90 highlighted an enhanced Air bag with a bold infrared window, effectively making them impossible to miss. While the Air Max 1 stuck with primary red and blue colorways for its original drops, the Air Max 90 played to the sensibilities of the time with its original “Infrared” colorway. The very ’90s neon red/pink concoction—better known as, you guessed it, “Infrared”—was as bold as the new Air approach and was offset by black, white and grey throughout the shoe. dnp for sale
