The Nike Air Max 90 “Chicago” here has tonal grey uppers inspired by the city’s greystone houses, mention of the 312 area code on the inside of the tongues, mild sauce insoles as a tribute to Chicago’s favorite condiment, shiny accents standing in for its metallic bean Cloud Gate sculpture and plenty more details that locals should appreciate.

AIR JORDAN XI ’72-10′

The Air Jordan XI—one of the most iconic and beloved Air Jordan models of all time—follows His Airness’ insight of bringing a formal look to the court, featuring patent leather for the first time in an athletic shoe. The newest colorway of the venerated Air Jordan XI pays tribute to the historical season of 1995/1996 which culminated in a record breaking 72-10 regular season record and another championship ring.

The details come to life on the shoe, with premium materials and subtle nods to His Airness and 72-10. Premium tumbled leather pairs with Microfiber suede to create a look of timelessness, while the tumbled patent leather rand around the shoe features an iridescent sheen. Red and Black adorn the carbon fiber shank plate which is surrounded by a clear outsole. All of this is topped off with a new tag inside the tongue which reads: “72-10 QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST SEASON LED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER.”
