About Ward 1
I’m Wayne Ward, a Chicago-area creative director, photographer and collector of things. Ward1.com is my visual journal — the stuff that keeps me inspired, shot by me.
Concerts are the core. I’ve photographed shows across Chicago and beyond, from sold-out stadium tours to festival stages, while working for record labels, radio stations, and Live Nation Entertainment. Around that, this site collects everything else I’m into: Chicago sports game days, LEGO builds, bobbleheads, tech — and most importantly, 30+ years of collecting sneakers.
If it’s here, I shot it, collected it, or am just creatively inspired by it.
