The React Element 87 is the official debut of the original technology, the one that took comfort to the cutting edge. Air Jordan 1 Homage to Home

June 3, 2018 | Category: Ward 1 Sneakers

Air Jordan 1 Homage to Home

The latest Air Jordan I is for Chicago, a city whose colors became MJ’s. Back in 1985, before red and black were brand bedrock, the first Air Jordan arrived in the ‘Banned’ and ‘Chicago’ colorways. Both are recreated here as an Homage to Home, split vertically down the middle of each shoe – a hybrid homage that shows love for the city on both sides.

Air Jordan XI • Cap & Gown

Seven years ago, the world got its first look at the all-black Air Jordan XI. It was love at first tease. Shown as part of a collection that included other all-black favorites from the signature line, the colorway was never officially released to the public. Finally, the wait is over. Dressed in patent leather, premium nubuck and an icy outsole, the signature line’s graduating class of 1995 returns in a black cap and gown.

Nike Air Max 270

The first of its kind, the Men’s Nike Air Max 270 Casual Shoes boast a Max Air unit created specifically for Nike Sportswear. Updated with the luxuries of modern comfort, the Air Max 270 still boast a vintage-inspired exaggerated tongue top and heritage tongue logo, both of which are a direct nod to the original 1991 Air Max 180.

Air Jordan XI Low Binary Blue

The latest Air Jordan XI arrives in low-top form. A tonal navy upper and premium nubuck construction lend subtlety to the silhouette typically known for shine. Originally created as a high top and released in 2017, this build was limited to just five pairs. Now it returns with the top down for a proper public debut.

Air Jordan XI Low Cool Grey

First released in 1995, the Air Jordan XI turned heads immediately. Its patent-leather design started as an unconventional idea and quickly became an undeniable classic – a status it’s held for over 20 years. Originally released as a Player Edition golf shoe for MJ, this low-top version in Cool Grey is set to make its public debut.

Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball consciousness. Air Jordan I Shadow

Air Jordan I Shadow

Red and royal blue have always been primary colors for Jordan Brand. But even back in Year One, when the signature line was still gaining altitude, the Air Jordan I dabbled in grey. The color would come off the bench again and again in the ensuing years, delivering some of the most coveted releases in sneaker history. Now the shoe that introduced the shade returns, sporting a high top, full-grain leather and the same shadowy color combo first seen in 1985..

Air Jordan III Black Cement

This is the shoe. The one MJ wore during his break-out 1988 season, when he earned his first league MVP and took flight from the free-throw line. The one that made “one to rock, one to stock” a thing. The first one you tried to keep clean. The last one on the list article you read about the 50 Greatest Sneakers of All Time, and the other, and the other, and the other. It’s back. This time, in honor of MJ’s birthday and the 30-year anniversary of its debut, it keeps the Nike Air branding to reach true OG form.

The Air Jordan XVIII OG was released in 2003.

On April 16, 2003, MJ took his final bow. And wearing Air Jordan XVIIIs, he went out in style. Like several models before it, the shoe took Italian design and sports cars as its muses. It had royalty at its core, with exquisite craftsmanship and tasteful colorways. This super-clean pairing of white and Sport Royal was one of them.

Air Jordan I Flyknit – Shadow

The newest edition of the Air Jordan I delivers a modern look and feel to the unmistakable silhouette with textured, lightweight Nike Flyknit. Paired with premium leather accents, a timeless black and grey colorway adorns the innovative design.

Air Jordan VI – Gatorade

The latest colorway for the Air Jordan VI is an homage to the 1991 “Like Mike” commercial that captured a generation. It arrives in Gatorade green, dressed in suede from top to bottom. Details like a squeeze-bottle-inspired lace lock, sockliner graphic and embroidered “If I Could Be” detailing on the inside tongue complete the tribute.

AIR JORDAN I LEMON-LIME

The Air Jordan I ‘Lemon-Lime’ pays homage to the original ’91 ‘Like Mike’ campaign that captured the world. Inspired by Gatorade flavors and featuring premium leathers, the Air Jordan I was designed for a player who ignited the court and changed the league forever.
