Air Jordan 9 Retro – Charcoal

The Air Jordan 9 Retro ‘Charcoal’ 2010 adds a premium material build to its basketball construction. The black and grey upper appears on a suede and nubuck build, highlighted by hits of Varsity Red on the branding and lining. The mesh tongue provides breathability, while Air in the midsole provides cushioning. The signature outsole includes another hit of Varsity Red via the Jumpman at the heel.

The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Original (OG) – Black / Varsity Red (3/4 High Men) was released on February 17, 2001, and retailed for $160. They were the original colorway of the Air Jordan 16 (XVI). They feature an all black leather upper with a patent leather toe, as well as red accents, and a clear outsole. The only thing wrong with the Air Jordan 16 (XVI) is that they do not have great traction, as there is not enough rubber on the bottom. This specific colorway features a black leather shroud which hides the lacing system, and gives the shoe a more casual look, which is an added bonus. Features of the shoe include a hidden quick lace system, carbon fibre sheath, patent leather, Zoom Air insoles, and a Jordan shroud, which is a covering for the laces, made from full grain leather.

Air Jordan released a new Air Jordan Force V at Air Jordan Flight Club – the Grey Nurse. These Air Jordan Force Fusion V’s are loosely modeled on the Hyperion Spitfire MK VIII 253 Grey Nurse, which was Tinker Hatfield’s direct inspiration for the original Air Jordan V’s. The markings on the heel and toe are taken directly from the decorations on the plane itself, as is the overall grey and black colorway. For those who have criticized the Force Fusion line of shoes in the past, these kicks are completely true to the history of the Air Jordan V, as they use Hatfield’s primary inspiration as the primary motif of the design!

Air Jordan Countdown Pack 19-4

In need of a memorable way to celebrate the launch of the long-awaited Air Jordan XX3 in 2008, Jordan Brand gave fans an opportunity to relive the entire history of the line by re-releasing each previous model. There was a twist though — the shoes were paired off into groups of two models that added up to ’23.’ For example, things got underway that January, when Air Jordans 10 and 13 were boxed up in two original colorways that hadn’t yet been retroed.Air Jordan Countdown Package CDP Pack (or Collezione) shoes were packaged in a special fold-out box bearing graphics of the first 22 Air Jordans and a special message from Michael Jordan himself. Retail was set at $310. Following the January launch, the Air Jordan XX3 was released in February and packs were then released in subsequent months for the rest of the year.

This retro Jordan 4 was something new for the Air Jordan line. The shoe was officially known as the Air Jordan 4+. The shoe had the same silhouette and sole as the other retro Jordan 4?s, but with a few cosmetic changes. First off, the plastic heel tab and “wings” were replaced with leather. Next, the netting on the sides and tongue were removed being replaced with a few air holes in the leather. Lastly, and most offensive to enthusiasts, the large Nike Air logo on the back was replaced with a Jumpman. The shoes did not sell nearly as well as the true Jordan 4 retros, but are next to impossible to find today in decent shape. Something special about this pair of Air Jordans is that the midsole was painted with a glossy finish.

The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original (OG) – White / Black – Oxidized Green was released on February 13,1999, and retailed for $150. They feature a white leather upper with black support wraps along the bottom of the shoe. The shielded Jumpman logo and “23? on the back feature an oxidized green colorway. They are light weight (the lightest Air Jordan to date), as well as a great basketball shoe, as the herringbone pattern on the outsole gives them great grip. The sleek design is actually based on Michael’s Ferrari F355F1, the first production Ferrari to be fitted with an F1 paddle shift semi automatic transmission. these inspirations can be observed in the shield- shaped Jumpman badge, the Rossa Corsa shank plate and midsole air vent. Other specifications include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system. The Air Jordan XIV (14) was released in 1998/1999. This was the very last Air Jordan model that Michael would sport in NBA before his retirement. On January 13th 1999 Michael announced his retirement from the NBA basketball for the second and final time.

The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original (OG) – Black / Black – White – Indiglo was released on June 12, 1999, and retailed for $150. They feature a black upper constructed from a combination of leather and durabuck, as well as an all white sole, which contrast from the upper, drawing plenty of attention to the shoe. The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) has some interesting history behind it, as it was inspired b the Ferrari F355F1, the first production Ferrari to be fitted with an F1 paddle shift semi automatic transmission. these inspirations can be observed in the shield- shaped Jumpman badge, the Rossa Corsa shank plate and midsole air vent. They are also the lightest Air Jordans to date. Their other specifications include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system. They also have great traction due to the excellent herringbone pattern on the outsole. The Air Jordan XIV (14) was released in 1998/1999. This was the very last Air Jordan model that Michael would sport in NBA before his retirement. On January 13th 1999 Michael announced his retirement from the NBA basketball for the second and final time.
