Nike Air Max Zero

Nike turned back the clock to this early sketch that pre-dates the Air Max 1 (and was intended to be the first Nike sneaker with visible Air). For Air Max Day, Nike and its designers brought the drawing to life, complete with an Air Max 1 Ultra outsole and a revamped upper that boasts Nike’s latest advancement in materials (the mono-filament mesh upper being one of ‘em) The Air Max Zero will be debuting in a mono-filament mesh upper, along with Nike’s other advancements in materials. The sneaker trades off between shades of White and Grey throughout the build, while a deep blue hue contrasts the base, coloring in the tongue, heel and Nike branding.

Air Jordan 4 Retro “Teal” 30th Anniversary

Aimed to celebrate Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary, the silhouette stays true its original design language which first debuted back in 1999. Predominantly draped in Teal across its smooth premium leather upper, a lighter shade is utilized for its signature netted underlays, tongue tab, synthetic eye stays and rear outsole to complement its monochromatic makeup. In addition, hits of Black are implemented onto the laces, inner lining, rear, quarter panels and frontal portion of its sole unit to enhance its overall palette. Finally, White solidifies the model across its midsole, which bears its signature Air bubble unit in the heel, as well as additional hits on the tongue tab, back and insoles via Jordan branding.

Nike KD 7 PRM Aunt Pearl

As the title suggests, this latest rendition is a homage to Kevin Durant’s beloved Aunt Pearl, who was influential in molding his character, moral, etc since her passing from lung cancer in 2001. Nike designer, Leo Chang was appointed for this touching project by taking inspiration into an angel tattoo evident on Durant’s back in his efforts to keep her memory alive.

The symbolism of an angel itself led to the silhouette’s pristine makeup, while also being the official color of lung cancer awareness, as White dominates its mesh and Hyperposite upper. Additionally detailed by a Pink breast cancer symbol stitched onto the back heel tab, in addition to Pink Flywire support and insoles imprinted with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund – a charitable organization committed to the fight against women’s cancers through raising money, assisting the underserved and unifying people to raise awareness – Gold Swoosh logos with wing-pattern detailing provide an elegant, yet luxurious touch to its overall design.

Finishing notable details include a three-dimensional angel wing strap adoring the midfoot, with a tributary message to his Aunt Pearl on its backside, while a greyscale print of the actual angel tattoo from Kevin Durant’s back is applied on the inside of the tongue, as a Gold KD logo is placed on the outside.

2015 Air Jordan 10 – Bulls Over Broadway

Dubbed “Bulls Over Broadway” and “Gym Red”, the latest variation of the Air Jordan 10 is officially unveiled, as this remastered classic pays homage to Jordan Brand’s historic 30th Anniversary as well as a tribute to NYC, this year’s host of the 2015 NBA All-Star game.

Sporting a Chicago Bulls-inspired theme, this particular model is a nod to Michael Jordan’s visit to NYC in 1995, wearing No. 45 for the first time since his retirement, hence its distinctive moniker. Dipped in a bold Gym Red hue across its premium pebbled leather composition, Black accents are scattered throughout for a complementing contrast while the application of a speckled cement-inspired sole unit further symbolizes NYC with its concrete streets.

Air Jordan 19 (XIX) Original (OG) Low – White / Cement Grey – Black

The Air Jordan 19 (XIX) Original (OG) Low were released on May 29, 2004 for $115. They feature an all white leather upper as well as stitching designs across the side panels. They feature grey elephant print on the toe cap, which definitely help draw attention to this otherwise bland shoe. They also feature black and grey accents, and came with official Jordan Brand dog tags. The low top versions consist of features such as a quick lace system and an outsole which features a solid, modified version of the herringbone pattern, which provides great traction on the hardwood, as well as new flex groove details for added flexibility.

2012 Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro “White/Cement”

The Air Jordan IV in the White/Cement colorway is regarded, by some, to hold that famed title as the best to ever do it, and considering it hasn’t seen the light of day since it last appeared in 1999, the White/Cement will undoubtedly re-live that eminence and while providing a swift splash of cold water to the face of those who have strayed from the consuming hobby of collecting and wearing Air Jordans. In the famous 1989 film Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, the shoe was even shown being cleaned with a toothbrush to remove dirt marks.

The Air Jordan 13 (XIII) Retro – White / Team Red – Flint Grey were released on January 22, 2005

The official color labels them as “team Red”, but in person, they’re much darker. The feature a white, grey, and red upper, which at first seems weird because the red and grey look like they may not blend well, but they just seem to grow on you. The Air Jordan 13 (XIII) specifications include leather uppers, a hidden quick lace system, carbon fibre sheath, holographic eye, and Zoom Air insoles. Retail was $150.
