It’s been almost six years since the Powerbeats Pro were released in May 2019, so Beats has had a lot of time to plot how to improve the second generation of its popular ear-hook style true-wireless sport earbuds. And improve they have — by quite a bit. Not only do they feature a new, more refined design with better ergonomics, but new drivers, a more powerful Apple H2 chip, a new built-in heart-rate sensor and, yes, active noise canceling for the first time in a pair of Powerbeats. Available in four color options, they cost $250, or the same price as Apple’s AirPods Pro 2, which are also powered by the H2 chip.

The AJ5 debuted in 1990 and launched a legacy of bringing reflective materials into the Air Jordan lineup. Nodding to the original design, the reflective tongue and Metallic Silver midsole accents flicker against the black nubuck upper. Some updated features on this “Reimagined” edition include lightened edges to spotlight the shoe’s iconic design lines, and white laces as an ode to how MJ wore the AJ5 on the court. And the original stitched “Nike Air” heel branding was swapped out for reflective heel branding instead. Staying true to Tinker Hatfield’s signature design, it still features the bump-out collar, shark-tooth midsole and a fierce stance inspired by MJ’s on-court dominance and high-flying style. Plus, it comes complete with a Fire Red Jumpman logo, translucent outsole and mesh-like side panels. This premium “Reimagined” edition awakens an icon and carries the legacy forward.
