On Sunday night, Patrick Kane’s name was added to that hallowed list. Scoring 1,000 points is such a rare accomplishment in the franchise’s history it had been nearly 30 years since it last happened. Kane, 31, was not quite 16 months old when Savard, the last to do it, assisted on a goal by Al Secord to record his 1,000th point at the Chicago Stadium on March 11, 1990.
