Bruno Mars 24k Magic Tour 2017

Bruno Mars and the Hooligans, stepping out in technicolor style with color coordinated baseball jerseys and matching trackpants, were welcomed on stage to deafening applause and cheers which never relented. A crew of vocal beasts, incredible instrumentalists and dance machines, the Hooligan crew overdelivered in providing the entertainer factor throughout the entire evening.

To promote and showcase 24K Magic, the retro-soul throwback to old school R&B and funkified fresh beats, Mars performed nearly all of the tracks from his latest album. Upon taking over the stage with “Finesse” and conjuring up a dynamic dosage of “24K Magic” in the air, Mars continued to up the ante with fun, uptempo jams like “Perm,” “Chunky” and “That’s What I Like” before slowing things down a few notches with the smooth grooves “Calling All My Lovelies,” “Straight Up & Down” and the tantalizing “Versace On The Floor.” Also appearing on the setlist were mega hits and fan favorites such as “Treasure,” “Marry You,” “Runaway Baby,” “Just The Way You Are,” and “Locked Out Of Heaven”. Two highlights from this selection were the wistful and stunning ballad “When I Was Your Man” from Unorthodox Jukebox and the dark and fiery rendition of “Grenade” from Doo-Wops & Hooligans.
