December 27, 2004 | Category: Ward 1 SneakersThe Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original (OG) – White / Black – Oxidized Green was released on February 13,1999, and retailed for $150. They feature a white leather upper with black support wraps along the bottom of the shoe. The shielded Jumpman logo and “23? on the back feature an oxidized green colorway. They are light weight (the lightest Air Jordan to date), as well as a great basketball shoe, as the herringbone pattern on the outsole gives them great grip. The sleek design is actually based on Michael’s Ferrari F355F1, the first production Ferrari to be fitted with an F1 paddle shift semi automatic transmission. these inspirations can be observed in the shield- shaped Jumpman badge, the Rossa Corsa shank plate and midsole air vent. Other specifications include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system. The Air Jordan XIV (14) was released in 1998/1999. This was the very last Air Jordan model that Michael would sport in NBA before his retirement. On January 13th 1999 Michael announced his retirement from the NBA basketball for the second and final time.
