The Air Jordan 2.0 is a great new addition to the Jordan Brand family, using the classic Air Jordan 2 silhouette, but giving it serious performance upgrades with only slight aesthetic alterations. The first colorway, an OG-inspired white/black-red look, hit stores two months ago, but the Air Jordan 2.0 Cool Grey/Cement-Black is on-deck and it’s a perfect look both for the basketball courts, and the summer months. The shoes mixes a cool grey leather upper with black and grey elephant print along the toe, and black piping and piecing around the heel.

The Nike Air Jordan 5 V was first released in 1990 and once again featured innovative and creative designs and features.

Rumor has it that it was inspired by the WW2 Mustang fighter plane and the most obvious elements that demonstrates this are the shark teeth shapes on the midsole. It also was the first Jordan shoe to have a clear sole. This not only added a nice look to the shoe itself, but provided far better traction. It also features an iridescent reflective tongue and lacelocks.

Ward 1 Photography spent an amazing July 4th on the waters of Lake Michigan overlooking the beautiful city of Chicago.

After 30 years in the industry, Motley Crue proves they still have what it takes to shut down a show. This is the best sound, lighting and pyro I’ve seen them have in 10+ years. Amazing show!

Air Max 90 South Beach Edition

Jump Smokers Johnny Digital got a chance to hang out with @ClintonSparks at his live performance Saturday night. After his 2 hour set/performance they talked about Clinton’s “Awesome Mixtape” (available here) and the possible JS remix of his “Sucks to Be You”- ft. LMFAO and JoJo. If you haven’t heard any of Clinton’s podcasts or his mixtape, Jump Smokers highly advise you #getfamiliar!

It’s the middle of June, but finally we have nice weather in Chicago.

So far, the Nike LeBron 8 V2 has proven to be the most well-received out of the three-headed monster Nike has supplied King James with this season. We have witnessed the releases of sought-after colorways such as the “Stoplight” Nike LeBron 8 V2 and the “Entourage” Nike LeBron 8 V2. We will be able to add this never-before-seen “Sprite” Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low to this short, must-have list should a release date follow. This variation, which is obviously inspired by ever-so-popular soft drink, features an eye-catching Treasure Blue tone for most of the upper with hints of white and volt on the inner lining, Swoosh and tongue border. To coincide with those elements, Nike applied a volt-colored, full-length Max Air sole unit.

But W1 got ‘em!

Ward 1 designed the new logo for 670 the Score’s Tailgate Throwdown at US Cellular Field.

Check out the amazing time-lapse footage from GoPro cameras mounted to the DJ booth and the soundboard center stage at the 2011 B96 Pepsi SummerBash! The cameras ran for 12 hours and was set to take a picture every 5 seconds, and the movies run 30 frames per second.

The Nike Air Max 90′s are already at the top of the list for many of us, I bring you a look at the Nike Air Max 90 ACG. The ACG theme is heavy throughout the entire shoe, with classic ACG colors like purple and hot red coming together on the upper. Different colored speckled laces are also included, adding a nice touch to an already unique combo.

Found out today “ex-gf” did mad damage to my new wave runner last year, and got the repair bill today [$$$] ….. needless to say this summer will be the most amazing 1 to date…. #cantgetheresoonenough

All About You – New Album, In-Stores Today!

Whether looking out my office window or walking the streets downtown, Chicago is an amazing town to capture images for HDR work… also with Apple announcing today that the new IOS4 software on the iPhone will shoot HDR photos, tells me this type of work is gonna be around for a long time…

After attending Rihanna’s “Last Girl on Earth” Tour last night at the United Center in Chicago, it clearly reminded me how much different things were just less than 2 years ago… kinda crazy how things change…

I was able to shoot the Chicago Air & Water Show from both Gary Airport (Saturday) and Lake Michigan (Sunday). Overall I took over 2500 pics and I am still sorting out the best ones, but it was also my first attempt at a giant panoramic shot of the city and beaches during the airshow. The end result was made up of 14 total pictures and the file is over 20 ft. wide. This small JPEG really doesn’t do this image justice, but you can click for a slightly larger version. 6′ wide posters of this shot might even be available soon….check back..
